Demons & Halloween
Since it’s October, I thought it would be a good time to discuss Halloween and how my view of demons has changed.

Thanks Mike that was a really interesting insight into your experiences. Here in the UK Halloween is becoming a more commercialised festival like it is in the States, but we certainly don’t make as big a deal of it as you guys do.
Apparently it originates from a pagan festival and was turned into All Saints Day by the Catholics (rather like Christmas) - Halloween is short for All Hallows Even. Ironically in the UK we put more emphasis on Guy Fawkes Night, Nov 5th, where we celebrate the fact that a Catholic was killed for trying (but failing) to blow up the Protestant English government in the 16th Century.
Here’s a couple of videos showing how stupid Halloween really is… http://www.theonion.com/content/video/in_the_know_has_halloween_become http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-u0RQkj3Tic
God bless, Gaz
